InterTubes EP6 - iPhone Overview

Today we cover some of the rumormill stuff going around the internet to include an update on Google buying Twitter, and the IBM buying Sun Microsystems.

The main topic of the day in just a quick overview of how the iPhone can help the small business in day to day operations such as keeping track of appointments, contacts, and of course email!!!

    What is an “app”. What is it short for and how is it used and sold for marketing purposes?

      An app in short for application. In these terms it is written just for the iPhone. From your website, I don’t know enough about what you do to give you an example based off of what you do, but one way of marketing in the “app” would be product placement. If you sold promotional materials to realtors and created an app to keep track of the listings for realtors, realtors would use probably use it. So, inside the app you would give suggestions of products they should buy for a particular transaction. Does that help and make some sense?
